The Complete Academic Search Manual: A Systematic Approach to Successful and Inclusive Hiring,  by Lauren A. Vicker and Harriette J. Royer, is available on reserve at Mantor Library for UMF faculty and staff under “Affirmative Action Hiring”.  It may be checked out with your UMF I.D.  While our own search policies prescribe procedures that must be followed, this manual gives additional information and ideas helpful for both search chairs and Affirmative Action Observers.
